Coming off of their fourth straight loss Tuesday evening, the Bobcats look to bounce back Thursday and Friday nights against Adrian College.

Ohio is coming off of two losses to Liberty (4-2) in what was an extremely physical series. Ohio played a very good defensive game in game two.
And despite Ohio’s early-season struggles, coach Cole Bell thought his team has shown improvement over the course of their four games thus far. Bell believed the Bobcats shouldn’t have lost Tuesday night against Liberty.
However, the Bobcats will have a tall task at hand as they travel to Adrian, Michigan to take on the undefeated Bulldogs on Thursday before returning to Athens for the second game of the series on Friday.
Adrian College ended last season 32-2 before the national tournament was canceled due to COVID-19.
This is Adrian’s first game since Feb. 3, where they defeated Indiana Tech 4-1.
Ohio and Adrian have not gone head to head since 2017, when the Bobcats defeated the Bulldogs 4-2 in the 2017 American Collegiate Hockey Association tournament semifinals.
This series will mark four games for the Bobcats in five days. Despite the lack of scoring for Ohio, Bell is happy with the direction his team is headed and thinks his team will be fine if they play the same way.
“Our game plan, our team, is not designed to win 5-4,” Bell said following Tuesday’s game. “We’re designed to win 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, low scoring type games. I think that’s what you saw here tonight. And, unfortunately, we just weren’t able to get one in behind the goaltender. But I think if we play like that again on Thursday night, we’ll be just fine.”
