Bobcats' game Tuesday against Morehead State postponed
After heavy rain surrounded the area throughout the day Tuesday, Ohio didn’t play its originally scheduled game against Morehead State in Morehead, Kentucky.
The game was postponed and a make-up date hasn’t been scheduled as of press time.
It was the first officially postponed game for the Bobcats’ season, though they have made previous schedule changes to avoid weather, including this past weekend when they picked up a series against the University of Illinois-Chicago in Nashville.

The Bobcats (9-4) swept that series and are just two wins shy of tying their win total from last season, when they finished 11-40. In 2013, the Bobcats only won 14 games.
Ohio will make its home opener this weekend with a three-game series against Siena at Bob Wren Stadium. The Bobcats will play a doubleheader Friday beginning at 1 p.m. before playing the third game Saturday at noon.
Rain is expected in Athens during the weekend series.
