Oxbow Trail will be closing this weekend for repairs due to a sinkhole that recently emerged.
The sinkhole, which lies near the corner of Oxbow Trail and South Green Drive, will close both lanes of traffic and limit vehicle access to Baker University Center, OU spokeswoman Katie Quaranta said.
“The closure will allow us to investigate the cause of the sinkhole and try to repair it,” she said.
The stop for the GoBus and Boyd dining shuttle will relocate to West Green Drive, Quaranta said.
The temporary GoBus stop will be at the Convocation Center behind James and Grosvenor Halls, according to its website.
Access to Baker for service and delivery vehicles will be through the service road from the Life Sciences parking lot, Quaranta said.
“At this point, we are hoping the closure will only last through Saturday,” she said.
Vehicular access to Baker University Center Parking Garage and Surface Lot 122 will also be closed.
