“Perceive with Caution” A Kennedy Museum of Art Merging Concepts Exhibition at 9 a.m., hosted by the Kennedy Museum of Art, 100 Ridges Circle. Visit the Kennedy Museum to see the student-developed, curated, designed and installed “Perceive with Caution” art exhibit. “For the Love of Athens” Photo Contest Gallery Exhibit at 8 a.m., hosted by ARTS/West and the Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St. View “For the Love of Athens,” a photo contest and exhibition celebrating the people and places of Athens County. The show has been on display over the past few months at ARTS/West, and now, it is being hosted at the Athens Community Center for an encore viewing. Athens Farmers Market at 9 a.m., hosted by the Athens Farmers Market, 1002 E. State St. Shop for locally grown and locally made foods and goods at the farmers’ market. The market accepts SNAP, credit cards and wholesome wave. Masks are recommended, and social distancing protocols are in place.

Passion Works Pop Up at 12 p.m., hosted by Passion Works Studio, 20 E. State St. Explore a variety of local artists and the Passion Works Studio gallery. The parking lot, where the event will be hosted, is accessible. Attendees must wear masks. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase nearby at the Ornery Vet Cafe.

Introduction to Ceramics at 2 p.m., hosted by the Hocking Makers Network, 3301 Hocking Parkway, Nelsonville. Learn wheel throwing basics. Participants will be practicing their skills and making bowls. The course serves as an orientation to become a member of the Hocking Makers Network Visual Arts Makerspace. Registration is hosted online through the Hocking Makers Network website.

Ebony Bobcat Network Cincinnati/Dayton - Cookin' & Mixin': NOLA Style at 4 p.m., hosted virtually by the Ebony Bobcat Network. Join the Ebony Bobcat Network-Cincinnati/Dayton alumni for a free virtual cooking and cocktail mixing excursion with all the flair and style of New Orleans. Foodie Candice Higgins will demonstrate preparing classic shrimp and cheesy grits paired with Southern collard greens.
