One of Ohio University’s most notable alumni recently endorsed a candidate for governor.
Modern Family star Ed O’Neill, who attended OU in the 1960s, announced yesterday his support for Ohio state senator Joe Schiavoni in the upcoming Democratic primary elections on May 8. Both Schiavoni and O’Neill are from Youngstown, OH.
“I was born and raised in Youngstown and I think Joe Schiavoni will represent all the people of Ohio,” O’Neill said in his endorsement. “He'll fight for the families, he'll fight for better jobs and a better future like he's been doing for years."
