The Athens City-County Health Department reported one new death related to COVID-19 between Friday and Sunday, bringing the total deaths to 94 in the county.
Athens County now has 228 active cases, up from 194 on Nov. 15, and 49 new cases of COVID-19.
Currently, about 50.3% of Athens County residents have started the vaccination process and about 46.4% have completed the vaccination process.
