The series
Ohio leads the all-time series, 94-52. The Bobcats last played the Flashes on Feb. 26 when Kent defeated Ohio 73-49 in Kent.
Player to watch
Danny Pippen — Not only is the junior forward the top offensive threat for Kent, but he is also a defensive cog that could limit the offensive production Ohio needs from Jason Preston and Ben Vander Plas. Pippen is second in the MAC in blocks and, at 6-foot-9, is almost always the tallest player on the court. The Bobcats will need players outside of Preston and Vander Plas to have big performances and counter Pippen’s defensive abilities.
