Bird Ice Arena was closed for the entire 2024 fall semester, but it is finally back up and running. They've made repairs to mainly the ice, but also updates in the facility. The D1 hockey coach and a captain on the D2 hockey team express their excitement about being able to use their home arena again. Athens goes bananas for Banana Bar Crawl

The Banana Bar Crawl, the biggest bar crawl in North America, according to @bananabarcrawl's Instagram, visited Athens over the weekend. Well-Being Wing in Ping now open to students

Food truck vendors hope for more accessible spots

Lil' Red Dress Project raises awareness for Indigenous women

As part of Native American Heritage Month, the Women's Center and Multicultural Center held the Lil' Red Dress Project, which raises awareness for missing and murdered Indigenous women. The red color symbolizes the blood of the sacred lives lost due to violence against native women.
