The polling location for Rome and Carthage Township, which previously was at Federal Hocking Middle School, was changed to Carthage Township Volunteer Fire Department for the Aug. 8 election. The change in location left many residents confused since they never received any explanation as to why the precinct was moved. Lil' Red Dress Project raises awareness for Indigenous women

The red color symbolizes the blood of the sacred lives lost due to violence against native women.
