On a chilly February morning, over 240 people showed up at Lake Snowden in Albany to do the unthinkable: jump in an icy lake that just so happened to measure 32 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the temperature at which water starts to freeze. However, it wasn’t just for nothing, as participants were taking the freezing plunge for a good cause. It was the 5th annual Polar Bear Plunge, a charity event held to raise money for the students of Beacon School. Race For A Reason raises money for good causes

There were multiple different races you could pick to compete in, and competitors got to chose the place, or their "reason" they wanted their money to be donated to. Cherry Bombs reinvent the meaning of baseball

The team has been around for four season now, and the creator of the team says she came up with the idea because of her love for baseball and women's sports.
