Food trucks are becoming very popular here in Athens, but with that popularity comes a lack of spots to park the trucks. Most of the food trucks park on Union St., but they say they need more space. Owner of Rise & Grind coffee truck, Brandon Buckly, plans to bring this initiative to city council for more user friendly and accessible spots. Hot Box Chicken adds new trendiness to Court Street

The owner decided to open this spot because his son attends Ohio University and he was interested in available storefronts. Lil' Red Dress Project raises awareness for Indigenous women

The red color symbolizes the blood of the sacred lives lost due to violence against native women. Students at the event say this problem needs way more attention brought to it in the mainstream media.
