Saturday, February 15, the Athens County Humane Society fundraising committee hosted a Galantine's Day lunch to celebrate the women they work with and the impact they've made on the Athens community. All proceeds from the event benefited the Athens County Humane Society. The fundraising board says this is their first event like this and they were very pleased with the turnout.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Dresses brings a glimmer to girls' lives

All of our 10 sororities on campus and anyone else who is able donates dresses for this cause. The event was a success and they have already stated collecting donations for next year.
