Hot Box Chicken adds new trendiness to Court Street
By Ranjini Shank | 7:08pmA brand new restaurant, Hot Box Chicken, opened on Court Street November 22. The owner decided to open this spot because his son attends Ohio University and he was interested in available storefronts. Hot Box is not a franchise restaurant, and students say the chicken is even better than Canes. Lil' Red Dress Project raises awareness for Indigenous women
By Ranjini Shank and Hayley Mitchell | Nov. 21As part of Native American Heritage Month, the Women's Center and Multicultural Center held the Lil' Red Dress Project, which raises awareness for missing and murdered Indigenous women. The red color symbolizes the blood of the sacred lives lost due to violence against native women. Students at the event say this problem needs way more attention brought to it in the mainstream media.
