The last fests of the year were this weekend: Athens Fest and the iconic Palmer Fest. Famous rappers performed at parties on Friday and students flooded Palmer Street to celebrate the end of fest season Saturday. Cherry Bombs reinvent the meaning of baseball

The team has been around for four season now, and the creator of the team says she came up with the idea because of her love for baseball and women's sports. A player says she joined the Cherry Bombs because she liked that it's breaking gender boundaries and stereotypes in the sports world. Intramural sports offer an outlet for OU students
