Mill Fest 2025

Saturday, the first fest of the season took over Mill Street. Thousands of students filled the street to party, day drink and celebrate the commencement of fest season. Sisterhood of the Traveling Dresses brings a glimmer to girls' lives

The College Panhellenic Council puts on Sisterhood of the Traveling Dresses every year to help provide formal wear to local high schoolers for their prom. All of our 10 sororities on campus and anyone else who is able donates dresses for this cause. The event was a success and they have already stated collecting donations for next year. Spring Internship & Career Fair allows students to seek opportunities in professional world

OU Career Services held their Spring Career & Internship fair Wednesday at Ping Recreation Center to give students an opportunity to meet with over 80 employers from many different industries. A current employer says even if you're not looking for a job or internship just yet, it's still very beneficial to practice interacting with employers and seeing what's out there. Student Senate celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community with Pride Week

This week OU Student Senate is holding Pride Week to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. The events range from art competitions and wellness discussions to a pride prom and a panel of drag queens. They also have a display of pride flags on North Green which students say is really powerful to see. The events run until March 22nd. Posties take on the Big Apple

Recently, some of our posties got the opportunity to go to New York City for the ProCon 25 College Media Convention. They were able to learn from experienced journalists, hear from multiple keynote speakers and get tips on how to be successful journalists. Friendly Paws connects pets to loving homes

The first and third Sunday of every month, Friendly Paws Pet Supplies & Grooming hosts the Athens County Humane Society cats for adoption event.
