After a 4-0 start to the season in the Elon Softball Classic last week, Ohio (5-4) hit a speed bump, going 1-4 on the weekend in the Bear Down Fiesta. Although Ohio was able to get a 3-2 win over South Alabama, the weekend was still a slight setback.
The Bobcats will have a four-game slate heading down to College of Charleston for the Lowcountry Classic, with all four of those games favoring them. Here is everything you need to know for the Lowcountry Classic.

College of Charleston is coming off a dismal 2024 season where it went 10-39 overall and won just four conference games. The 2025 campaign doesn’t look much better after a 2-7 start to the season. In six of those games, the Cougars have been held under 3 runs, even getting shutout in back-to-back games against Virginia Tech.
