Trisha Paytas experiences career altering success in 2024

The internet icon Trisha Paytas is becoming the people’s princess of this generation. After years of creating content, Paytas is starting to experience groundbreaking success in her career, allowing her to live out her dreams and become a true “it-girl.”

In 2024, Paytas reached numerous milestones due to her shift in the public eye. Her “Just Trish” podcast gained popularity, she was featured in a “Saturday Night Live” skit and recently announced her debut show on Broadway.

Paytas has been an internet personality for several years; however, she has not always been seen in a positive light. In the past, Paytas has faced controversy over her online persona.

She has been criticized for being racist and creating drama with other celebrities. Additionally, she has been accused of being transphobicfor inaccurately explaining how she identified in 2019.

Aside from her problematic history, Paytas has consistently drawn attention to herself in other ways. Much of her content consists of relatable vlogs, parody videos, skits and muckbangs.

She is well known for her remake of the music video “Bet On It” from High School Musical 2. She has also gained recognition on TikTok due to her ongoing skit series she created called “Trisha’s Tavern.”

Paytas has consistently been drawn to fame on social media. From attempting to break the world record for the world’s fastest talker on Ellen in 2010 to being on the UK reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2017, Paytas laid the groundwork for the success she is experiencing now.

Paytas married her spouse Moses Hacmon in December 2021. Later, the couple had their first child, Malibu Barbie Paytas-Hacmon, in September 2022. This massive life change sparked a transformation in Paytas.

In an Instagram post in May 2023, Paytas said that after having Malibu, her “whole life changed” and that Malibu became “my purpose, my meaning of life.” To Paytas, motherhood has helped her mature and leave behind a past version of herself some people considered problematic.

With her new perspective, she has grown as an entertainer and risen in fame and success.

Recently, she has received continuous support from the public on her “Just Trish” podcast. The podcast is focused on covering trending pop culture topics with occasional guest stars.

Her bubbly personality creates an inviting and accepting atmosphere for many. With guest stars such as Tara Yummy, Bowen Yang and Aubery Anderson-Emmons, Paytas is committed to forming genuine connections with a variety of figures in pop culture.

Apart from YouTube and her podcast, Paytas has decided to explore new avenues with her content creation. One of her biggest accomplishments this year was completing her goal of being on “SNL.”

In a recent podcast episode with “SNL” actor Bowen Yang, he speaks about how excited he was that Paytas was willing to be a part of his skit. Paytas shared that she received a direct message from Yang after performing in San Diego, California, for her Christmas show called “Trishmas Live.”

Receiving this message was a dream to Paytas, but she was unsure if she would be able to make it happen since the message was very last minute. However, after further deliberation with her spouse, she decided that she needed to take the opportunity.

Shortly after her sold out show, Paytas booked a flight to New York to be able to be apart of the “SNL” skit. Since Paytas is considered a seasoned internet celebrity by many, and her performance on “SNL” was immediately deemed one of the best in recent years. Fans were shocked and ecstatic to see her on stage.

A day after her debut on “SNL,” Paytas quickly headed to perform in another showing of Trishmas Live in New York City. She mentioned in the same podcast with Yang that this show has been her “most successful and biggest selling show” she has ever done.

During her show, Paytas shocked crowds once more by announcing her debut Broadway show, “Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream.” The one night only special has already sold out, but is available to be live streamed Monday, February 3, 2025, at 8 p.m.

After a chaotic decade of posting on the internet, Paytas has finally started accomplishing some of her wildest dreams. Over the years she has dealt with all sorts of drama but has somehow been able to navigate her way out of it.

Paytas’ decision to focus on herself and the wellbeing of her family has helped her to create a positive online space. This past year she has been booked and busy, but it seems as though she is only getting started.
