Five Ohio players were awarded conference honors following the conclusion of the 2024 season, as announced by the Mid-American Conference Tuesday morning.
Norah Roush headlined the awards for Ohio, taking home the MAC Defensive Player of the Year and being named to the All-MAC First Team. Roush is the first player in Ohio history to win MAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Eve Berish and Jaimason Brooker accompanied Roush on the All-MAC First Team.
Berish had an impactful season at the midfield position, scoring two game-winning goals and making 19 starts. Brooker led Ohio in scoring and assists on her way to earning All-MAC honors.
Forward Maia Kaufman and goalkeeper Celeste Sloma rounded out the awards for Ohio, each earning a spot on the All-MAC Second Team. Kaufman and Sloma played all 19 games for Ohio and had major impacts in the team’s biggest conference games.
Ohio will look to extend its season this Thursday against Buffalo in the MAC Championship semi-final.
