Ohio University Police Department received a report of a man dressed in dark clothing and wearing a ski mask, last seen running from Ewing House while carrying a knife Monday night at 7:54 pm.
The man is described as 6-foot with a slim build, wearing dark sweatpants and a dark grey ski mask, according to OUPD.
OUPD searched Ewing House but did not locate the suspect. Officers are conducting extra patrol of residence halls overnight, and no further updates are expected, according to OUPD.
Students are urged to call 911 immediately if they see the individual. Additional updates will be shared via ohio.edu/alert/athens as they become available.
