Daphne’s Dispatch: Political opinions can strain friendships

  • Opinion: In her latest column, Daphne addresses the potential strain political opinions can place on friendships as the presidential election approaches. She emphasizes that differing political views should not be a reason for friendships to dissolve. Daphne highlights that democracy allows for various political stances, and it's important to respect and understand differing opinions, even within long-standing friendships. Friends should encourage readers to value their relationships and approach political discussions with respect and openness, recognizing that friendships can endure despite differing opinions, according to Daphne.
