Early in the morning on Wednesday, three-star forward Kiir Kuany announced his commitment to Ohio through his X account.
Kuany is a 6’9” forward who impacts the game through his athletic ability on both ends of the floor. Kuany initially received his offer from Ohio on May 25, choosing to commit to Ohio over Utah State, Youngstown State, Eastern Michigan and Arkansas-Little Rock.
While having been born in Melbourne, Australia, Kuany chose to play his final year before college at Huntington Prep in Huntington, West Virginia. Over the last year, Kuany has also played in major Amateur Atheltic Union circuits, including Nike’s EYBL and Adidas 3SSB.
Kuany will join two other three-star commits, Elijah Elliott and Ayden Evans, on the Bobcats next year, making up one of the highest-ranked recruiting classes in the program’s history.
