Ohio made its second big move of the offseason early Wednesday afternoon by gaining sophomore guard Jackson Paveletzke from the transfer portal. Paveletzke announced via social media that he would be committing to Ohio.
Paveletzke has two seasons of D1 College Basketball under his belt, with Wofford for his freshman year and Iowa State for his sophomore season. At Wofford, Paveletzke averaged 15.1 points per game while starting all 33 games as a freshman. At Iowa State, he saw less time but still appeared in 33 games, averaging over 10 minutes per game.
Paveltzke, a 6 foot 2 inch guard, is a great addition to an Ohio squad that will be looking to replace Jaylin Hunter who graduated after the 2023-24 season.
Ohio has made two moves in the transfer portal after picking up Victor Searls on March 27.
