On Tuesday afternoon three-star recruit Elijah Elliott announced via Instagram that he has committed to play basketball for Ohio.
Elliott, a 6-foot-4-inch guard from Kansas, was previously committed to Florida Atlantic and announced his de-commitment on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, on April 3. The announcement came less than two weeks after former Florida Atlantic head coach Dusty May announced he would be leaving to become the head coach at Michigan.
Elliott played his senior season of high school basketball at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas. At the end of his senior season, Elliott was ranked the No. 2 prospect in the state of Kansas.
Elliott will join a stacked 2024 freshman class for the Bobcats, teaming up with fellow three-star recruit Ayden Evans, who committed to Ohio in July of 2023.
