In Ohio’s past most recent series against Adrian, it let the opposing team score 10 goals in two games, while scoring seven of its own. Difficulty with offensive production and consistency have been plaguing the Bobcats in some of their last few games; however, they have been able to come out on top when they apply themselves to the system of play they have created and work together as one unit. After a stint of away games, Ohio will return to Bird Arena for a full series against Syracuse. Here is everything you need to know before this weekend:
Series Information:
Date and Time: Nov. 3 and 4, 7 p.m.
Opponent: Syracuse (6-3-1)
Location: Bird Arena
Series History:
The last time Ohio faced Syracuse was in 2019. The Bobcats handed the Orange a series sweep, led by Gabe Lampron, who contributed five points against the Orange in the series.
Player to watch:
Mathieu Ovaert, the rookie fresh out of Lausanne, Switzerland, has scored the second most goals for Ohio and was able to break through the tight Adrian defense this past weekend. His offensive skills will certainly come into play this weekend.
