Ohio got some much-needed confidence last weekend after it took a game from Central Michigan, but it is feeling shaken up after its loss to Morehead State on Tuesday.
Luckily, the Bobcats have a long bus ride ahead of them to prepare for their latest task. Ohio will go to DeKalb, Illinois, for a series against Northern Illinois this weekend.

Series History
Ohio opened MAC Play with a doubleheader against Northern Illinois last year. It took the first game 10-2 over seven innings, but fell in game two. The series ended in a split after games three and four were canceled due to surprise snow in Athens.
The Bobcats are 14-20 against the Huskies since 2006. However, the Bobcats do have a winning record against them under head coach Craig Moore. They are an even 3-3 against the Huskies since Moore’s interim season in 2021.
Player to Watch
Alex Finney — The senior doesn’t get enough credit for the power he brings to the table. Finney has had a hit or more in five of his last six games. He’s one of Ohio’s most versatile players and will either be in the field or behind the dish this weekend.
