Ohio, fresh from its winter break, defeated Stony Brook on Friday night. Ohio is now on a five-game win streak after it took down Stony Brook 5-2. Ohio is now one win away from earning its third series sweep in a row on the season. Here are all of the numbers to know from the victory:

Luc Reeve has the most points for the Bobcats and the ACHA Division I with 48 points and 24 goals. Reeve led the ACHA ahead of the second semester with 45 points.
His talent shone through on Friday night and he completed a hat trick by the beginning of the second period. He wasn’t done yet, however, as he scored another goal in the final moments of the second period. Reeve scored four of the five Bobcat goals for the night.

Ohio only earned eight penalty minutes across all three periods, which was a rare occurrence for the physical team. Stony Brook on the other hand earned 31 minutes, 15 of which were in the second period alone. Ohio took advantage of those minutes and scored on two of four power plays.

The Bobcats are notorious for the high number of shots on goal they usually rack up. On Friday, they tallied 45 shots on goal. The Bobcats attacked the net in the first period by firing 17 shots. In that span of time, the Seawolves had seven. The Bobcats' relentless attack carried over into the second and third periods. Their consistent shooting assisted their victory.

Justin Damon had 19 saves on 21 shots on goal Friday, earning him a 90.5% save percentage. Damon has been a reliable starter for the Bobcats, with a save percentage of 90.9% across the whole season. His leadership abilities and concentration have proven to be critical for the Bobcats on defense.
