In the Oct. 6 print edition of The Post, the story with the headline “Values That Shape Us” ran with the incorrect photo. The photo used was of Dr. Rajindar Koshal, who is actually the husband of Dr. Manjulika Koshal, the author who the story was about.
We greatly apologize that this error was made. We mean no disrespect to Dr. Manjulika Koshal or to her accomplishments. We acknowledge the error may have caused embarrassment and frustration and taken away from the purpose of her book signing event. We credit Dr. Manjulika Koshal for her hard work on her book and apologize for not catching and correcting the error during the print process.
We at The Post strive to uphold accurate, fair reporting, including when deciding which photos to use, and we will be working hard to ensure The Post does not let an error like this happen again.
We have made the photo correction in our digital version of The Post.
