Women's Basketball: A second glance at Akron

Ohio will take on Akron for the second time in six days Saturday and, once again, it is a must-win game.

After losing to Buffalo on Wednesday night, the Bobcats are barely holding on to a spot in the Mid-American Conference tournament and could fall out of a qualification spot with another loss.

Ohio took Akron down Monday thanks to a deep Erica Johnson 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter, but it was a close contest, and Saturday’s game should be no different.
