Ohio announced Wednesday that it added 10 players to its roster during its early signing period. The Bobcats secured five offensive players, four defensive players and one special teams recruit. Only two of the signees are originally from Ohio, while the rest hail from areas like Mississippi, Oklahoma, Georgia, New York and Ontario.
Six of the signees will be junior college transfers, and three of those transfers — Rayyan Buell, Jacoby Jones and Vance Van Every — will be coming from the same program.
Perhaps the biggest pickup for Ohio on Wednesday was the commitment from kicker Nathanial Vakos. The Avon native is both a five-star kicker and punter and received offers from schools like Cincinnati and Virginia Tech.
Ohio expects to fill out its signing class further as February’s National Signing Day approaches. For now, here is a look at the 10 recruits Ohio signed Wednesday:
