Today is Monday, Oct. 26, 2020. Here’s what you need to know:
Good Morning,
On Sunday, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a game-winning touchdown to rookie receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones. After a slow start, Mayfield completed 21 straight passes and followed with a spike to stop the clock and the game-winning touchdown. With a score of 37-34 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Browns secured their 5-2 standing with 11 seconds left on the clock.
However, the Browns didn’t leave the game without any injuries. Mayfield played with a broken rib and lost Odell Beckham Jr. to a knee injury when he tried to make a tackle on the interception return on Mayfield’s pick.
The Browns will host the Raiders Sunday at 1 p.m.
