Coronavirus cases reach over 25 million cases worldwide; students on and around Ohio University’s campus are voicing concerns about party-goers

Today is Monday, August 31, 2020. Here’s what you need to know: 

Good morning, 

Coronavirus cases have now exceeded over 25 million cases worldwide, according to John Hopkins University’s tally. Brazil’s Ministry of Health reported 758 new coronavirus related deaths in the last 24 hours, which brings the total death toll to 120,262.  New positive coronavirus cases in Brazil are 41,350. The total number of confirmed cases is 3,846,153. 

Ohio has a decline in cases with now 1,216 new confirmed cases, which brings the number down 80 cases.
