Ohio University announced Friday that it will move all campuses to remote and online instruction until the end of Spring Semester.
Classes will resume online on Monday, March 23, after the extended spring break.
Students who live in residence halls are not allowed to return to campus after spring break. The Division of Student Affairs will announce move out scheduling soon, according to the university alerts page.
Students who need to live in a residence hall must be approved by Housing and Residence Life.
OU originally announced that students can retrieve items from residence halls until Monday, March 16.
A process for reimbursements is being developed, and more information will be provided for students who live on campus and/or have a dining plan.
“The only constant of this global health crisis has been unpredictability,” President Duane Nellis said in a campus-wide email.
On March 10, OU originally decided to move to online only until March 30.
