An investigation is being initiated, but there is no further information available.
Unlawful sexual conduct with a minor is normally a fourth-degree felony, but if the offender is fewer than 4 years older than the victim, it is a first-degree misdemeanor. If the offender is 10 years or older than the victim, it is a third-degree felony.
OUPD has also received four rape reports, a sexual assault report, a sexual imposition report and a public indecency report this academic year.
The Athens Police Department has received six rape reports, two sexual battery reports and a voyeurism report.
