The Athens Police Department responded to a shooting report early Friday morning at the Campus Heights Apartments.
All involved parties were accounted for and there is no risk to the public, according to an APD media release.
Officers arrived at about 2:30 a.m. to find a woman suffering from a gunshot wound that was non-life-threatening.
The woman was transported to OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital.
APD is still investigating the incident, but there is no more information available at this time, according to the media release.
