A woman reported to the Athens Police Department that a man, who was in the women’s restroom at The Market Saturday, was trying to take photographs or videos of her.
She reported the incident happened at about 5:22 p.m. and that it was a middle-aged, white man with “salt and pepper hair,” according to the APD report.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, fled out the back door of The Market, which is located at 1002 E. State St.
This is the first voyeurism report APD has received this school year.
