Two armed robberies occurred on the Ohio University campus early Thursday morning.
The incidents occurred at two locations. One was on North McKinley at Pickering Hall and the other was on South Shafer Street off West Union Street, according to the report.
At about 1:30 a.m., the Ohio University Police Department sent text and email alerts to students.
The suspect is a white man between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a silver pistol. He fled in an older four-door sedan, according to the alerts.
Students are told to use caution when walking alone.
