Teyvion Kirk is no longer a Bobcat.
The sophomore guard from Joliet, Illinois, announced via Twitter he will transfer to Colorado State.
In his two seasons at Ohio, Kirk averaged 14.7 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game and 2.8 assists per game. He appeared in over 60 games as a two-year starter and earned All-MAC Freshman Team honors in 2017-18.
Kirk was a key player under former coach Saul Phillips, but he put his name in the transfer portal — alongside Jason Carter, who transferred to Xavier — shortly after Phillips was let go and Jeff Boals accepted the new coaching position in March.
Boals will have to replace four starters from a season ago. Freshman guard Jason Preston is the lone exception for Ohio, and Antonio Cowart Jr. submitted his name to the transfer portal in April.
