If Ohio wants to avoid a second-straight absence from the Mid-American Conference Tournament, it needs to start winning road games.
The Bobcats are 3-15 when playing as visitors this season, but they’ll have their best opportunity to garner road wins when they play Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, Michigan, for a three-game series this weekend at Oestrike Stadium.
Ohio (10-24, 5-7 MAC) won its home series last weekend against Toledo, and it will need to win at least two games again to stay atop teams in the mix for a MAC Tournament spot. That won’t happen, though, if the Bobcats’ road struggles continue against the Eagles (8-29, 3-9 MAC).
