Parents are throwing cheese at their children for views; here’s why people flock to Athens during fest season

Today is Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Here’s what you need to know:

Good morning,

What’s the latest Internet trend? Babies getting cheesed by their parents.

Parents around the world have started throwing slices of cheese at their babies and filming the reactions. The videos, accompanied by the hashtag “cheesed,” are mainly found on Twitter, where the prank originated. The original tweet has been deleted, but that hasn’t stopped users from cheesing their parents, siblings or pets.

Chrissy Teigen, a model who has accrued a large Twitter following, said she would never do the challenge. Teigen loves pranks, but she would never want to betray the trust of her unsuspecting child, she said in a tweet.
