Ohio will have its second Mid-American Conference series in as many weeks this weekend. Bowling Green’s coming to Athens for a three-game series starting Friday.
This series is a must-win for the Bobcats.
“Bowling Green is a series that we have to be competitive to not just get a game.” coach Rob Smith said. “I think we have to win the series.”
Ohio (5-17, 1-2 MAC) is shooting for its first conference series win of the season.
Bowling Green is a tough matchup for the Bobcats. Currently, the Falcons are second place in the MAC with a 3-0 conference record, and they are on a four-game win streak.
