Four finalists were announced Tuesday by Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Gigi Secuban for Ohio University’s new LGBT Center director.
The national search for the new director started in January after the former LGBT Center Director delfin bautista was removed.
The finalists are Roxie Patton, Elliot Director, Mathew Hall and Cory Frederick.
Patton is currently an associate director in the Center for Student Diversity at the College of William and Mary.
Director served as the LGBTQ Student Life Coordinator for Oberlin College’s Multicultural Resource Center.
Hall is currently the assistant director of Health Promotion at Ohio University. He works with programs like Bystander Intervention and Power Based Personal Violence Education.
Frederick is a program manager at Mozaic, a wellness program and community space for transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary people of color ages 13-29.

- Elliot Director - Friday, March 29 from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m., Baker University Center, room 219
- Mathew Hall - Wednesday, April 3 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Baker University Center, room 231
- Cory Frederick - Thursday, April 4 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Baker University Center, room 231
