Today is Friday, Feb. 1, 2019. Here’s what you need to know:
Good morning,
It is officially February and with Valentine’s Day looming near, there are only two weeks left to make plans with your significant other (or with yourself) for the occasion.
Many fast food chains like White Castle, Papa John’s Pizza and Subway are taking advantage of the holiday, according to Vox. However, White Castle first offered dinner reservations on Valentine’s Day in St. Louis and Minneapolis in 1991, and it spread to all of its locations.
Last year, the restaurant received 30,000 reservation bookings and, this year, they have already received about 70 percent of those reservations. Some locations will even be extending reservations until Feb. 15.
