The series

Ohio is 50-25 all-time against Eastern Michigan. The Bobcats have won six of the past eight games against the Eagles, and they beat them last year in Ypsilanti, Michigan, onJan. 20, 2018.

Coach Saul Phillips is 4-2 all-time against Eastern Michigan coach Rob Murphy.

Player to watch

Thompson — He’s a lengthy scorer who can hurt Ohio on the offensive and defensive ends. Jackson might lead the Eagles in scoring and offensive production, but Thompson will test Ohio with his offensive presence and in EMU’s 2-3 zone.
