Ohio defensive coordinator Jimmy Burrow retired from his position Tuesday morning after 14 years under coach Frank Solich.
With Burrow, the Bobcats have won 106 games, captured four Mid-American Conference East Division titles, made 10 bowl appearances and earned the program's first four bowl victories. In addition to his defensive coordinator and safeties duties, Burrow has served as Ohio's associate head coach since 2017.
Six of his players have been selected in the NFL Draft.
Linebackers coach Ron Collins has been elevated from his position to defensive coordinator. Collins has been an assistant at Ohio for eight years.
