Today is the last day to register to vote; Ray McNiece will perform in Front Room on Wednesday

Today is Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. Here’s what you need to know:

Good morning,

Those who want to cast their vote in the upcoming Ohio General Election must register by the end of the business day. 

The deadline to register or change addresses is today. Students in Athens can go to the Athens County Board of Elections, 15 S. Court St. The Board of Elections will have extended hours and will be open until 9 p.m.

Early voting begins Wednesday, and for a full list of early voting times, check out the Board of Election’s website or call (740) 592-3201. Polls open at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 6 and will stay open till 7:30 p.m.
