—Tia Jimerson returned to practice this week and is now being evaluated on a day-to-day basis. The sophomore middle blocker has been out since sustaining a leg injury on Sept. 1 and has a chance to return to the starting lineup this weekend.
Jimerson only practiced in blocking-oriented drills on Tuesday.
“You can’t (be out) for a month and then jump right back in there and expect to be all the way back,“ coach Deane Webb said. “She has some work to do.”
— Kyra Slavik is out for the season after undergoing surgery on her hand. The freshman setter finished with 136 aces and 52 digs.
— Jaime Kosiorek is nine service aces away from breaking Ohio’s all-time ace record (162).
