TV Review: There are two new hot doctors on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

The doctors on Grey’s Anatomy got hotter — and who thought that could be possible?

The season premiere introduced two new orthopedic surgeons: Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack) and Nico Kim (Alex Landi). The show hasn’t featured ortho doctors since the departure of Callie Torres (•Sara Ramirez), and in the later season, Callie’s love life was the primary focus of her storyline and not her surgeries.

Link and Nico are already pursuing some obvious relationships. Nico is interested in Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli), the intern more commonly known as Glasses. In one part of the two-hour episode, Nico winked at Glasses over the surgical table, causing the taken-aback intern to drop something on the OR floor.

Link on the other hand was flirting it up with Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) herself. Meredith’s love life was a big part of the episode. Meredith was having wet dreams about several of the doctors, including Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) and Link.

One of the patients noted Meredith is married to her work and said it’s obvious Meredith wants to at least hook up with someone.

“You want someone to kiss someone. I can tell. It’s my superpower,” the patient said.

Meredith’s love life has seen no shortage of drama. The series began with a supposed-to-be one-night-stand with Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey). After Derek died, she didn’t find anything remotely close to love until Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson). When Riggs left, Meredith dedicated all of her energy to her work.

Hopefully Meredith finds a boy toy this season. She needs to have a little fun. Honestly, DeLuca wouldn’t be a bad choice either. He seems to respect her a lot and he’s a very nice guy.
