Goodwill slashes prices for grand opening; Interfaith Peace Walk promotes peace, justice and inclusion

Today is Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018. Here’s what you need to know:

Good morning,

Goodwill is a thrift store known for its low prices on clothing and homeware. Today those prices will be even lower for shoppers in Athens.

The grand opening of a Goodwill store, 175 Columbus Road, promises shoppers 50 percent off the prices of everything in the store. There are more than a thousand people interested in the grand opening event on Facebook, so serious thrifters may want to be outside the doors when they open at 9 a.m.
