Good morning,
California woman Rebekah Martinez has been seen weekly on The Bachelor since the season debuted this year and has also been registered as a missing person in California’s Humboldt County, according to NPR.
Martinez’s mother filed a missing person’s report Nov. 18, claiming she had not heard from her for a week. In December, police followed up, and her mother said she had heard from her after filing the report. She was never removed from the missing persons list.
It was then realized that Martinez was one of the top 10 contestants on the show after the county’s local newspaper published a story exploring how the county has one of the highest rates of reported missing persons.
