Sunday’s premiere of season 10 Real Housewives of Atlanta was highly anticipated by fans who live for the tea sipping, shade throwing and the reads that come from the stars on the show. The women did not waste any time to bring back the drama this season. NeNe Leakes is back on the show and she is already stirring the pot and Kenya’s surprise marriage has everyone’s eyebrow raised. Here are the top three shadiest moments of the first episode of RHOA!
1. NeNe throws shade at Kenya Moore's surprise marriage.
The episode started off in Cynthia Bailey’s home with her and NeNe having a glass of wine having girl talk. It didn’t take long to get on the topic of Kenya’s new marriage. Cynthia is Kenya’s best friend on the show, but she even had to find out that Kenya was getting married through social media just like everyone else. Kenya then pops up at Cynthia’s house and NeNe still did not hold back. Even though Kenya gave her an explanation of why she eloped and how she didn’t want any negativity toward her new love, NeNe couldn’t help but ask for the marriage license. It’s been rumored on past seasons that Kenya has been paying people to be her boyfriend on the show. Kenya handled it well by laughing it off but she did not hold back in the confessions. Seeing the way Kenya is already getting treated from the women on the show, it’s easy to see why she kept it a secret. Would you want to invite people to your wedding if they doubted the relationship? Probably not.
2. Kenya dissed NeNe’s nose job
The confessionals are where all the women throw their best shade. After NeNe takes a jab about Kenya’s relationship, Kenya did not hold back her thoughts of NeNe’s nose job in the confessionals. Kenya said that even though she took half of her nose off, she is still nosey NeNe. There’s no doubt NeNe will bring this up at the reunion. It is funny that the ladies continue to talk bad about surgeries, but they have all at some point been under the knife. It’s like the pot calling the kettle black.
3. Sheree Whitfield bashes NeNe’s boutique
Sheree once owned a clothing line called She by Sheree. NeNe now has a boutique in Atlanta. Sheree went to go visit NeNe’s boutique and said that it wasn’t as classy as her boutique. Sheree did not need to throw that shade. She forgot to say that her boutique is no longer there. Why is it no longer around? Fans don’t know, but it might be because no one wants her style. So, the whole thing was unnecessary
